We are a collaborative team of researchers and educators from Seattle Children’s Research Institute, University of Washington, and University of Oregon Center on Brain Injury Research & Training who are working to develop innovative culturally aligned approaches to increase concussion knowledge, with a goal of decreasing the public health impact of sport-related concussion in youth. We believe in the importance of community-informed development and the goal of this site is to support youth, parents and coaches to be healthy and prevent serious injury. To build this site, we received funding from the Latino Center for Health and Seattle Children’s Center for Diversity and Health Equity, and we partnered with a variety of community organizations including South Tacoma United , Pumas Seattle and SeaMar Community Health Centers . Please reach out if you are interested in partnering with us to continue to grow and improve this site.
